The Bourne Braves (10-11) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 4-3 ballgame against the Cotuit Kettleers (8-15) on Monday at Doran Park.

While the Bourne Braves led until the ninth inning, the Cotuit Kettleers worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Matt Albanese.

Albanese led the Cotuit Kettleers' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the third and ninth innings.

Jack Anderson pitched lights out for the Cotuit Kettleers. Anderson gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Cooper Hammond (0-1) took the loss for the Bourne Braves. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
