The Roswell Invaders (16-11) beat the Las Cruces Vaqueros (6-20) 6-3 in seven innings on Tuesday at Joe Bauman Park behind Louis Martini, who went 2-3.

It was a good day at the plate for the Las Cruces Vaqueros' Nick Howell. Howell went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Corey Lathram-Skillman got the win, running his season record to 3-3. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Lathram-Skillman struck out one, walked none and gave up eight hits.

Steven Cazares was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out seven.
