Cory Scammell went 2-3, helping the Edmonton Prospects (16-11) to an 8-7 victory over the Lethbridge Bulls (22-7) on Friday at Athletes Nation Park.

Trace Hansen racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Lethbridge Bulls. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the second and eighth innings.

Gary Koopman recorded his first win of the year for the Edmonton Prospects. He allowed one run over two innings. Koopman struck out two, walked one and gave up one hit.

Cole Slamko ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
