The Moose Jaw Miller Express (10-15) had a tough outing on Wednesday, as the Okotoks Dawgs (14-10) dominated in a 7-1 win at Seaman Stadium.

The Okotoks Dawgs scored three runs in the seventh on the Okotoks Dawgs scored in the seventh on a two-run double by Brendan Hendriks and a groundout by Bruce Yari.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express were ahead early but they ultimately surrendered the lead for good. The Moose Jaw Miller Express were ahead until the fifth inning, but the Okotoks Dawgs would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on an RBI triple by Brian Sisler.

Sisler was hot from the plate for the Okotoks Dawgs. Sisler went 4-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Dylan Nelson's 11 strikeouts helped the Okotoks Dawgs to the victory. Nelson allowed one earned run, nine hits and one walk over seven innings.

Kyle Sonntag couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Moose Jaw Miller Express, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked none and struck out two.
