The Moose Jaw Miller Express (9-12) and the Yorkton Cardinals (8-13) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Moose Jaw Miller Express capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-1 win at Jubilee Park.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express were led by Marvin Malone's hitting. Malone went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Tyler Franek got the win for the Moose Jaw Miller Express thanks to eight strikeouts. Franek allowed one earned run, eight hits and no walks over seven innings.

Despite the loss, the Yorkton Cardinals' Camran Bonnema dominated the Moose Jaw Miller Express' batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.

Bonnema ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year.
