Matt Horan kept the Garden City Wind (17-43) off the board during his eight innings of work and the Trinidad Triggers (41-17) beat the Garden City Wind, 11-1.

Horan struck out six and allowed one walk and seven hits.

The Trinidad Triggers ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. The Trinidad Triggers scored four runs in the last three innings to finish off the blowout win. The Trinidad Triggers scored three runs in the seventh on the Trinidad Triggers scored in the seventh on a two-run single by Luc Pomales and an RBI single by Trevor Sealey.

Caleb Johnson had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and third innings and singled in the eighth inning.

Jacob Terry (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed no runs.

The Trinidad Triggers' Caleb Bryson, Brian Frazier, Johnson and Caleb Baker combined for nine hits and seven RBIs.
