The Neptune Beach Pearl jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-2 to the San Francisco Seagulls (19-15) on Thursday.

While the Neptune Beach Pearl led until the sixth inning, the San Francisco Seagulls worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Houston Roberts.

Ismael Orozco led the San Francisco Seagulls' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the eighth inning.

Josh Greenberg picked up the win for the San Francisco Seagulls. Greenberg pitched nine innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and four walks while striking out five.

Jason King was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the San Francisco Seagulls batters and allowing one run.

Alex Trautner was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
