The Top Speed Baseball (21-5) and the San Francisco Seagulls (16-10) both had scoring chances on Monday, but it was the Top Speed Baseball that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-4 win at Fairmont Field.
Vincent Rodriguez did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Top Speed Baseball, reaching base three times. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.
Dominic Sebastiani had a hot bat for the San Francisco Seagulls. Sebastiani went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.
Jordan Kurokawa improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Top Speed Baseball. He allowed two runs over five innings. Kurokawa struck out six, walked one and gave up six hits.
Jared Koenig couldn't get it done on the mound for the San Francisco Seagulls, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked seven, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
