Tyson Miller hopes every outing could go as well as Wednesday, as Miller struck out 11 batters to carry the Brewster Whitecaps (23-16) to a 4-1 victory over the Orleans Firebirds at Stony Brook.

Robbie Tenerowicz was hot from the plate for the Brewster Whitecaps. Tenerowicz went 3-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the second, third, and eighth innings.

Eric Lauer (4-1) took the loss for the Orleans Firebirds (27-12). He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
