Sheldon Neuse went 1-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Harwich Mariners (15-19) to a 3-2 victory over the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (18-17) on Wednesday at Whitehouse Field.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox had no answer for Williams Durruthy, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox managed just two hits off of Durruthy, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Ben Bowden had an impressive outing against the Harwich Mariners' lineup. Bowden held the Harwich Mariners hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out four.

Dustin Hunt (0-2) took the loss for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
