A three-run home run by Branden Berry delivered the runs in the third. The Cotuit Kettleers had three hits in the inning.

Austin Sexton improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Cotuit Kettleers. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Austin Tribby ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
