He singled in the first inning.Alex Schick baffled the Cotuit Kettleers, striking out six batters. Schick allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk over six innings.
Jon Woodcock handled the Brewster Whitecaps' lineup with ease, racking up three strikeouts. The Cotuit Kettleers' pitcher gave up just four hits over five shutout innings.
Zachary Ryan got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered no hits.
