Jacob Noll had two extra base hits as the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (15-9) took home a 4-1 victory over the Harwich Mariners (11-12) at Whitehouse Field on Tuesday.
He doubled in the first inning, homered in the fifth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.The Harwich Mariners couldn't get anything going so long as Aaron Civale was on the hill. Civale held the Harwich Mariners hitless over 3 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.
Johnny Adams paced the Harwich Mariners at the plate. Adams went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fifth inning.
Vance Tatum got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed one run over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered three hits.
Hunter Williams (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
The Hyannis Harbor Hawks were sparked by Noll and Errol Robinson, who teamed up for six hits and two RBIs.
