Mitchell Jordan kept the Wareham Gatemen (11-10) off the board during his six innings of work and the Orleans Firebirds (16-6) beat the Wareham Gatemen, 5-0.

Jordan allowed two hits, no walks and struck out six.

The Orleans Firebirds were led by Alex Call's hitting. Call went 1-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the sixth inning.

Despite the loss, the Wareham Gatemen's Grant Dyer dominated the Orleans Firebirds' batters, giving up one run and striking out five.

Ryan Williamson was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
