A walk-off single from Nicholas Pappas brought home the winning run for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (11-8) in a 1-0 victory over the Brewster Whitecaps at McKeon Park on Monday.
Pappas was hot from the plate for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. Pappas went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the ninth inning.
Aaron Civale brought the heat against the Brewster Whitecaps (8-9) during his outing. The Brewster Whitecaps managed just one hit off of Civale, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his four innings of work.
Patrick Ruotolo (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
