Scott Tully did his part on the hill, but it wasn't enough to carry the Harwich Mariners (14-19) to a win on Saturday, as the Harwich Mariners fell to the Falmouth Commodores (13-20) 1-0 at Arnie Allen Diamond.
Tully handled the Falmouth Commodores' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Tully allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over eight innings.
The Harwich Mariners couldn't get anything going so long as Adam Oller was on the hill. The Harwich Mariners managed just four hits off of the the Falmouth Commodores' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his five innings of work.
Jack Finnegan improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Falmouth Commodores. Finnegan struck out one, walked one and gave up three hits.
Tully (0-3) took the loss for the Harwich Mariners.
