The Chatham Anglers (4-3) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-3 to the Harwich Mariners (4-3) on Tuesday.

An RBI single by Joe DiBenedetto gave the Harwich Mariners the lead in the seventh inning.

It was a good day at the plate for the Harwich Mariners' Cavan Biggio. Biggio went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Despite the loss, the Chatham Anglers' Zac Gallen dominated the Harwich Mariners' batters, giving up one run and striking out seven.

DiBenedetto got the win, running his season record to 1-0. DiBenedetto struck out none, walked one and gave up no hits.

Carl Burdick couldn't get it done on the bump for the Chatham Anglers, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
