The Hyannis Harbor Hawks (4-1) beat the Orleans Firebirds (3-2) 5-2 on Saturday at McKeon Park behind Blake Tiberi, who went 2-4.

Aaron Civale pitched lights out for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. Civale held the Orleans Firebirds hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Devin Smeltzer improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out nine, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

Corbin Burnes (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
