Eight runs in the first three innings helped the Gateway Grizzlies blow out the Lake Erie Crushers. A groundout by Seth Heck, an RBI single by Grant Buckner, and a three-run double by Richard Seigel in the first inning and a solo home run by Cody Livesay and a two-run home run by Craig Massoni during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Gateway Grizzlies.
Livesay had two extra-base hits for the Gateway Grizzlies.
Brad Zambron couldn't get it done on the mound for the Lake Erie Crushers, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked two and struck out three.
The Gateway Grizzlies' Massoni, Ben Waldrip, Livesay and Buckner combined for eight hits and six RBIs.
