The Southern Illinois Miners (54-30) took home a marathon 7-4 victory over the Rockford Aviators (44-40) on Sunday at Aviator Stadium.

With the score tied at four in the tenth inning,, scoring Niko Vasquez.

Craig Massey racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Southern Illinois Miners. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.

Michael Hur racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Rockford Aviators. He homered in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Eric Green recorded his sixth win of the year for the Southern Illinois Miners. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Patrick Dolan was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
