Roberto Padilla kept the Schaumburg Boomers (14-17) off the board during his 6 2/3 innings of work and the Rockford Aviators (21-9) beat the Schaumburg Boomers, 4-3.

Padilla allowed four hits, one walk and struck out three.

A walk-off single by Ryan Breen gave the Rockford Aviators the win.

Breen led the Rockford Aviators' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the tenth inning.

Devon Rodriguez had a hot bat for the Rockford Aviators. Rodriguez went 3-5 and drove in one. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth and tenth innings.

Patrick Dolan got the win, running his season record to 2-1. Dolan struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Hideyoshi Otake (2-1) took the loss for the Schaumburg Boomers. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
