An impressive effort by Jake Eikleberry spurred the Hannibal Cavemen (12-35) to a 3-0 win over the Kokomo Jackrabbits (26-25) on Sunday at Clemens Field.

Eikleberry held the Kokomo Jackrabbits scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out seven.

Sam Griggs put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Mark Zimmerman couldn't get it done on the bump for the Kokomo Jackrabbits, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
