It took 10 innings, but the Alexandria Aces (22-16) managed to put away the Baltimore Redbirds (25-13) 3-2 on Thursday at Calvert Hall HS.

Austin Dykes brought the heat against the Baltimore Redbirds during his outing. The Baltimore Redbirds managed just one hit off of the the Alexandria Aces' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Justin Dunn couldn't get it done on the hill for the Baltimore Redbirds, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked seven, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
