Thomas Bradey went 2-3 as the Alexandria Aces (21-16) took home a 7-3 victory over the Vienna River Dogs (15-20) at James Madison High School on Monday.
He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.Tyler Tobin picked up the win for the Alexandria Aces. Tobin allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings of work.
The Alexandria Aces couldn't get anything going so long as Jack Gomersall was on the hill. The Alexandria Aces managed just one hit off of Gomersall, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one during his four innings of work.
Mitchell MacKeith was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
