The Vienna River Dogs (3-4) and the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (3-5) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Vienna River Dogs capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-6 win at Blair Stadium.

Aaron Scoville racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Vienna River Dogs. He singled in the third inning.

Dominic Zaher got on base three times in the game for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Zach Moore improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Vienna River Dogs. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Robert Galligan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
