Eighth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Vienna River Dogs, 10-3

The Vienna River Dogs (1-1) beat the Baltimore Dodgers 10-3 on Wednesday at Joe Cannon Stadium after a six-run explosion in the eighth inning.

The Vienna River Dogs scored in the eighth on an RBI single by Ty Kobylinski, , a single by Andrew Frazier, an error, , and a single by Kevin Lachance.

Kobylinski racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Vienna River Dogs.

Tim Davis pitched lights out for the Vienna River Dogs. The Baltimore Dodgers (0-3) managed just three hits off of Davis, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Alex Delacruz Rodriguez led the Baltimore Dodgers' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He doubled in the fourth innings and singled in the ninth inning.

William Thompson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Vienna River Dogs. He allowed one run over two innings. Thompson struck out one, walked two and gave up two hits.

Colin Friedman couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Baltimore Dodgers, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
