The Statesville Owls had no answer for Dallas Connor, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Connor held the Statesville Owls hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.

William Feimster improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Statesville Owls. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Justin Pace (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
