Hunter Hamilton kept the Carolina Vipers (2-7) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Lake Norman Copperheads (6-5) beat the Carolina Vipers, 6-0.

Hamilton allowed three hits, two walks and struck out three.

The Lake Norman Copperheads blew out the Carolina Vipers thanks to eight hits, including zero extra base hits. A two-run double by Steven Whitaker helped the Lake Norman Copperheads score two runs in the fourth. The Lake Norman Copperheads had three hits in the inning.

Ian Edmiston had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and third innings.

Sean Collins (0-2) took the loss for the Carolina Vipers. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
