Joe McCarthy drove in three runs, sparking the Harwich Mariners (23-15) to a 6-3 victory over the Orleans Firebirds (22-16) on Wednesday at Eldredge Park.

Johnathan Frebis pitched lights out for the Harwich Mariners. The Orleans Firebirds managed just one hit off of Frebis, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Jon Harris improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Harwich Mariners. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Kolton Mahoney (3-2) took the loss for the Orleans Firebirds. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out six.
