Mike Torres went 5-5 at the plate as the Windy City ThunderBolts (33-60) took home a 9-7 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums (38-56) at Standard Bank Stadium on Tuesday.

Jeff DeBlieux racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Jake Fisher got his fifth win for the Windy City ThunderBolts despite allowing six runs over six innings. Fisher struck out five, walked one and gave up six hits.

Alex Phillips was charged with his ninth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.

The Windy City ThunderBolts pounded the Traverse City Beach Bums pitching, as six hitters combined for 17 hits, six RBIs and eight runs scored.
