Four first-inning runs helped the Lake Erie Crushers (42-32) to a 7-3 win over the Frontier Greys (25-49) at All Pro Freight Stadium on Sunday.
Vincent Mejia racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He homered in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Matt Rein got the win, running his season record to 1-5. He allowed one run over six innings. Rein struck out three, walked two and gave up nine hits.
Lamarre Rey (2-5) took the loss for the Frontier Greys. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
