The Southern Illinois Miners (31-23) didn't put up much of a fight on Sunday, as the Evansville Otters (31-21) cruised to a blowout 13-1 win at Bosse Field.

Sweeney racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Evansville Otters.
Zach Fowler picked up the win for the Evansville Otters. Fowler pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, seven hits and three walks while striking out two.
The Southern Illinois Miners were led by Jay Austin's hitting. Austin went 2-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first and third innings.
Tyler Lavigne ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed 13 runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out seven.
