Rusty Shellhorn kept the Evansville Otters (17-12) off the board during his five innings of work and the Traverse City Beach Bums (12-18) beat the Evansville Otters, 3-1.

Shellhorn struck out three and allowed one walk and seven hits.

Yazy Arbelo racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Preston Olson (2-2) took the loss for the Evansville Otters. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
