The Everett (7-7) beat the Pierce (5-9) 5-3 in seven innings on Tuesday at Mt Tahoma High School behind Kyle Nobach, who collected three hits.
He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.The Pierce couldn't get anything going as long as Ben Tamm was pitching. Tamm held the Pierce hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.
Colton Nash had two extra-base hits for the Pierce. He doubled in the second inning and tripled in the fourth inning.
