The Everett (7-7) beat the Pierce (5-9) 5-3 in seven innings on Tuesday at Mt Tahoma High School behind Kyle Nobach, who collected three hits.

The Pierce couldn't get anything going as long as Ben Tamm was pitching. Tamm held the Pierce hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four.

Colton Nash had two extra-base hits for the Pierce. He doubled in the second inning and tripled in the fourth inning.

The Everett couldn't get anything going so long as Ryan Schmitten was on the hill. The Everett managed just two hits off of Schmitten, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Jordan Pullen recorded his first win of the year for the Everett. He allowed two runs over two innings. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Matt Fish was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
