Jordan Swofford was cold coming off the bench, but Swofford warmed up quickly as Swofford stroked a key pinch-hit single in the nine to lead the Clark (27-11) to a 6-5 win over the Mt. Hood (14-22) on Saturday at Kindsfather Field .

With the score tied at five in the ninth inning, Swofford came to the plate and singled.

A walk-off single by Kyle Vanderkin gave the Clark the win.

Vanderkin racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Clark. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the tenth inning.

Sam Kosbab recorded his first win of the year for the Clark. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Michael McCall ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
