The Seattle (WA) Studs (5-0) and the El Dorado (KS) Broncos (8-1) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Seattle (WA) Studs capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-3 win at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

The El Dorado (KS) Broncos couldn't get anything going so long as David Benson was on the hill. The El Dorado (KS) Broncos managed just three hits off of Benson, who allowed two earned runs, walked six and struck out five during his six innings of work.

Despite the loss, the El Dorado (KS) Broncos' George Brandecker dominated the Seattle (WA) Studs' batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.

Ricky Holm improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Seattle (WA) Studs. He allowed one run over three innings. Holm struck out three, walked one and gave up five hits.

Josh Moore was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
