The Hyannis Harbor Hawks make the most of 7 hits in 5-4 victory over the Brewster Whitecaps

The Hyannis Harbor Hawks (22-13) and the Brewster Whitecaps (13-23) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Hyannis Harbor Hawks that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-4 win at McKeon Park.

Ryan Padilla put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He doubled in the second and sixth innings.

The Brewster Whitecaps were led by Boo Vazquez's hitting. Vazquez went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and third innings.

Austin Pettibone improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Corey Taylor ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
