The RGV Whitewings (5-6) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the McAllen Thunder (6-5), and the RGV Whitewings lost 4-3 to the McAllen Thunder after falling behind by four runs in the second inning.

The RGV Whitewings scored three runs in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Dan Evett and two singles. Still, the RGV Whitewings couldn't catch the McAllen Thunder.

Tomar Hudson had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

Steven Romero picked up the win for the McAllen Thunder. Romero pitched eight innings and allowed three earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out six.

Antony Bello (0-3) took the loss for the RGV Whitewings. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
