Chris Manning went 1-3 as the Weyburn Beavers (18-28) took home a 4-3 victory over the Swift Current Indians (29-16) at Mitchell Field on Monday.
He singled in the seventh inning.Kurtis McCallum picked up the win for the Weyburn Beavers. McCallum pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out four.
Justin Kehler ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
