Emilio Torrez brought home the winning run to give the Okotoks Dawgs (7-2) the lead in the eighth inning, as the Okotoks Dawgs hung on to beat the Swift Current Indians (7-3) 4-3 on Wednesday.

With the score tied at two, Torrez came to the plate and was hit by a pitch, bringing home Ryan Serrato.

Sean Kettering had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Paul Schaak baffled the Swift Current Indians, striking out seven batters. Schaak allowed two earned runs on three hits and one walk over 5 2/3 innings.

Danny Clifford racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Swift Current Indians. He homered in the sixth innings.

Serrato got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Justin Kehler (1-2) took the loss for the Swift Current Indians. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed one run.
