A groundout by Garrett Killgore, an error, an error, an error, and a two-run single by Vance Woodruff in the first inning and an RBI single by Killgore during the second inning fueled the Melville Millionaires' offense early.
Kevin Biro racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Melville Millionaires. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and homered in the seventh inning.
Allen Rimer got his first win for the Melville Millionaires despite allowing nine runs over six innings. Rimer struck out two, walked two and gave up 15 hits.
Kyle Olver (0-2) took the loss for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He allowed 16 runs in four innings, walked two and struck out two.
