The Roswell Invaders (44-15)'s four first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 4-1 win over the Alpine Cowboys (34-24) on Saturday at Kokernot Field.

Eric Lambe struck out six hitters en route to the the Roswell Invaders win. Lambe allowed one earned run on five hits and three walks over seven innings.

Brian Smith (7-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
