An awesome effort by Mike Goldy spurred the Trinidad Triggers (25-17) to a 23-5 win over the Raton Osos (6-36) on Sunday at Central Park.

Goldy racked up seven RBIs on six hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He homered in the fifth inning, doubled in the second and sixth innings, and singled in the third, seventh, and eighth innings.

The Trinidad Triggers continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Trinidad Triggers scored seven runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. The Trinidad Triggers scored four runs in the seventh on an RBI double by Frank Florio, an RBI single by Goldy, a sacrifice fly by Will Leonard, and an RBI single by Richie Serritella.

Michael Lange had two extra-base hits for the Raton Osos. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the seventh inning, and singled in the ninth inning.

Chris Shaklee recorded his fourth win of the year for the Trinidad Triggers. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Shaklee struck out three, walked two and gave up seven hits.

John Costa (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked five and struck out two.

The Trinidad Triggers hammered the Raton Osos pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 23 hits, 21 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
