The New Jersey Jackals jumped out to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on. The New Jersey Jackals were ahead until the fourth inning, but the St Paul Saints would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on a sacrifice fly by Jose Hernandez.
Brad Boyer led the St Paul Saints' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Kyle Greenwalt was charged with the loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
