A walk-off single from GiOnna DiSalvatore brought home the winning run for the USSSA Pride (25-11) in a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Bandits (26-9) in 11 innings at Osceola Co Stadium on Tuesday.

DiSalvatore was hot from the plate for the USSSA Pride. DiSalvatore went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. She doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the eleventh inning.

Lauren Lappin got on base three times in the game for the USSSA Pride. She scored one run and had one RBI. She singled in the fourth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Cat Osterman got the win, running her season record to 14-2. She allowed one run over seven innings. She struck out seven, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Monica Abbott ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with her third loss of the year. She lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
