The Sacramento Legends make the most of 6 hits in 6-5 victory over the Auburn Wildcats

The Sacramento Legends and the Auburn Wildcats (10-9) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Sacramento Legends capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-5 win at James Field.

Ingram racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Sacramento Legends. He homered in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.

B looked sharp on the mound. The Auburn Wildcats managed just two hits off of the the Sacramento Legends' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Ethan McGill put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Auburn Wildcats. He doubled in the first and third innings and singled in the fifth inning.

Even though Watt allowed five runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Brennan Forster ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out six.
