Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Thursday as the Traverse City Beach Bums (36-22) outscored the Rockford Aviators (19-38) 12-10.

The teams totaled 24 hits in the game.

Sean Gusrang racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He singled in the second inning and homered in the third inning.

Nick Capito had an impressive outing against the Rockford Aviators' lineup. Capito held the Rockford Aviators hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Kyle Teague got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed three runs over 2 1/3 innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Nick Anderson (3-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked one and struck out none.
