Both the Traverse City Beach Bums (39-26) and the Florence Freedom (37-29) put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the Traverse City Beach Bums that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 9-7 win at UC Health Stadium.

Taylor Wrenn racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He doubled in the third and seventh innings.

Chris Squires had an impressive outing against the Florence Freedom's lineup. Squires gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Jacob Tanis had a hot bat for the Florence Freedom. Tanis went 3-6 and scored two runs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.

Brent Choban (3-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
