Dan Jensen kept the Gateway Grizzlies (9-7) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Florence Freedom (11-6) beat the Gateway Grizzlies, 6-0.

Jensen allowed two hits, two walks and struck out two.

The Florence Freedom's bats came to life in the second inning. The Gateway Grizzlies had no answer as the Florence Freedom scored five runs.

The Florence Freedom were led by a flawless day at the dish by Jacob Tanis, who went 3-3 against the Gateway Grizzlies' pitching. He homered in the second inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Chris Enourato couldn't get it done on the bump for the Gateway Grizzlies, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked two and struck out three.
