Marcus Nidiffer had a hot bat for the Traverse City Beach Bums. Nidiffer went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Brian Oliver recorded his second win of the year for the Southern Illinois Miners. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

Johnny Omahen couldn't get it done on the bump for the Traverse City Beach Bums, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
